Ps 27:13 — The Ultimate Hope of True Religion

    I would have lost heart, unless I had believed

    That I would see the goodness of the LORD

    In the land of the living.

Ps 27:13

Resurrection ("land of the living") unto beatific vision ("see the goodness of Yahweh") is the ultimate hope of true religion. Without it, there is no hope (cf. 1Cor 15).
